Apeiron Announces Guild Wars 2024

Apeiron has unveiled details for its marquee annual tournament, the Apeiron Guild Wars 2024, boasting a $1,000,000 prize pool. Here's everything you need to know about this major event, the $ANIMA launch, and upcoming S3 Primeval Testing.

Apeiron Guild Wars 2024

The tournament starts on May 21, 2024, and running through July 2, 2024. Web3 guilds worldwide will compete for a prize pool split between $500,000 in USDC and $500,000 in NFTs. The event will have two parts: the Guild Wars leaderboards and the Guild Wars Invitational.

Guilds compete to rank at the top, with the top 12 guilds from each region (SEA and NA) advancing to the Invitational. It features a double-elimination bracket with the top 4 seeded guilds receiving a first-round bye. The grand finals will be held in Hong Kong.

Guilds must earn at least 1000 ranked stars during the leaderboard phase and adhere to specific rules, including prohibitions on alt-accounting. Additionally, guilds need a minimum of 25 members or 300 followers to participate.

$ANIMA Launch

Starting May 21, 2024, $ANIMA will be earnable in-game and tradable on Katana Dex. $ANIMA, Apeiron's win-to-earn and player incentive token, will enhance all Apeiron NFTs and be usable in the forthcoming top-up store as Animus. Players who earned $ANIMA Airdrop Points will have them converted into battlevested $ANIMA on launch day.

Players must now claim rewards via the official Apeiron Marketplace. Due to technical issues, the new Relic Expedition has been delayed to Friday. Meanwhile, the Zenith Invitational Tournament begins today at 12:00 pm UTC, starting with the SEA region. On May 23rd, Apeiron will roll out S3 PvE dungeon testing. Primeval owners can access the early build via Discord's #alpha-access channel, using their Planet NFTs to test their Avatars in easy and normal modes.
