Animoca Brands Japan Facilitates Overseas Web3 Projects\' Entry into Japan through Nine Chronicles NFTs

Animoca Brands Japan has unveiled an initiative to support the expansion of web3 projects from overseas in Japan. Animoca Brands Japan is a subsidiary of Animoca Brands. As the inaugural step, NFTs usable within Nine Chronicles M, enjoyed in approximately 150 countries. They are now available for purchase and trade on Coincheck NFT starting April 3, 2024.

The recent deal with KDDI Corporation between Mocaverse and αU (Alpha U) further enhances the web3 experiences.

Nine Chronicles has seen substantial growth, especially with the mobile release. Nine Chronicles M. garners over 250,000 downloads across various platforms. It achieved a peak of 115,603 monthly active users from 150+ countries, the game has solidified its global footprint.

The mobile version is complemented by in-app purchases. This aligns with Planetarium Labs' strategy to introduce web3 gaming to a diverse audience. Nine Chronicles M is one of the top-performing games globally and its success underscores the potential of web3 gaming.

New NFT on Coincheck

To mark this milestone, Animoca Brands Japan introduces De: Centralized Cat (D:CC) NFTs on Coincheck NFT. This will enhance player engagement and offering staking benefits. These NFTs, integral to Nine Chronicles M, blend utility with investment opportunities.

There will be a limited offering of 300 NFTs, expected to start at 0.06 ETH. As Coincheck opens trading for these NFTs post-sale, it signifies a step towards greater integration of web3 gaming in Japan. This is facilitated by Animoca Brands Japan's forward-looking initiatives.
