AI-powered card game Animix Snap has officially kicked off Season 3, featuring a total prize pool of 17 billion $MUP tokens to play to earn through competitive gameplay while attempting to win USDC through a referral event.
What Is Animix Snap?
Animix Snap is a competitive card-battling game that combines collectible strategy gameplay similar to Marvel Snap with blockchain-based progression and seasonal reward systems. Players, referred to as Carditects, collect and fuse digital cards to build decks and battle opponents in 1v1 zone-based matches while climbing through ranked tiers to earn in-game and on-chain rewards. Every match features 3 zones to fight for control over by designating cards to that zone. The player who places stronger cards for that zone takes control of it, and winning 2 out of 3 zones wins you the match, but if it’s a draw, then the sum of all zone scores is used to determine the victor.
Each card represents a unique DNA combination with distinct elemental attributes such as Earth, Mud, Storm, Wind, Tsunami, and Water, making no new card the same. Players can upgrade cards by using card fragments and in-game soft currency Stardust, which improve a card’s level alongside altering its visual frame effects. Decks consist of 20 cards, and each player can create up to 5 decks for free, with the option to unlock more through in-game purchases.
The competitive mode revolves around ranked battles where players use tickets to enter matches and earn ARP (Arena Ranking Points). There are seven major tiers: Wood, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Champion. Each of the lower four tiers contains 3 sub-levels. Promotion occurs when a player reaches the next tier’s ARP threshold, while dropping below the tier floor results in demotion.
At the start of every new season, the game partially resets rankings and progress. Players above 800 ARP are reset to 300, and those below 800 are reset to 0. Game assets such as cards, card fragments, DNA, and tickets are reset as well, while Galaxy, the game’s premium currency, is retained.
Following an initial open beta launch earlier this month, the game’s first official Airdrop Season is now live from October 7 to October 21, 6 AM UTC, giving the blockchain gaming community the chance to play and earn the $MUP token, which launched early this year on SyncSwap DEX via the Sophon Network, as the project is supported by the Sophon Foundation. Here’s how this season works.

How Does Animix Snap’s Airdrop Season 1 Work?
Season 1 of Animix Snap introduces the first official Airdrop Season to play to earn the game’s core $MUP token in for free by ranking in the top 50 on the competitive leaderboard.
The total prize pool, referred to as the Public Pool, specifically includes the following:
- 17 billion $MUP (worth ~$22.6k at the time of writing) distributed across the Snap Debut and Legacy Pools
- A Shop Share Pool currently exceeding $752 USDC, which is said to continue to grow daily
- An additional $1150 USDC available through the Referral Event for top community participants
These rewards are said to be distributed based on player performance, ranking, and tier. Based on info from an earlier announcement, the Legacy Pools seem to only be available to existing players who were playing the game before a snapshot took place probably some month ago, while the Snap Debut is open to both veterans and newcomers. This means that anyone completely new to the game competes for a share of a 7 billion $MUP reward pool instead of 17 billion.
The Public Pool is divided into multiple categories based on player tier and membership level:
| Pool Type | Reward Allocation | Eligible Tier | Membership Level |
| Base Airdrop | 40% | Platinum, Diamond, Champion | Free, VIP, VVIP |
| Top 50 Players | 20% | Platinum, Diamond, Champion | Free, VIP, VVIP |
| Bonus Airdrop | 40% | Platinum, Diamond, Champion | VIP, VVIP |
| Shop Bonus | Shop Revenue Share | Platinum, Diamond, Champion | VVIP |
Players from Platinum, Diamond, and Champion tiers can compete for these pools, with VIP and VVIP members eligible for exclusive rewards such as the Bonus Airdrop and Shop Bonus.
The Top 50 Players Pool distributes rewards among the highest-ranked Carditects at the end of the season in the following way:
| Rank Position | Distribution |
| Top 1 | 15% |
| Top 2–5 | 25% |
| Top 6–10 | 25% |
| Top 11–50 | 35% |
Even if you don’t reach the top 50, you might still be eligible for other types of reward pools, including the Base Airdrop, Bonus Airdrop, and Shop Bonus, provided you qualify for the corresponding tier and membership level.
Essentially, by engaging in ranked battles, completing missions, and maintaining activity during the season, you stand a chance of winning seasonal rewards. Each player receives 9 free ranked tickets per day, refreshed at 0h UTC. Matches are decided by controlling 2 of 3 battle zones or by achieving a higher total score in the case of a draw.
Referral Clash Event
Next to competing for token rewards through gameplay, there is also the Referral Clash event as a means of adding a social layer to the season in order to incentivize and reward players for inviting friends and expanding the game’s playerbase. The event also runs from October 7 to October 21, and all participants can compete for a share of $1150 USDC and exclusive in-game prizes.
Players earn points for every friend who joins and completes specific actions:
- +1 point when a friend completes the login quest
- +5 points when a friend spends at least 500 Galaxy (a purchasable premium in-game currency)
The leaderboard tracks total points, and prizes are distributed as follows:
- Top 25 players share the $1150 USDC pool
- Ranks 26–200 receive exclusive in-game rewards
To invite, players can simply open the Friends tab in-game, copy their referral link, and share it. Each link tracks the referred user’s progress automatically.
How to Play to Earn in Animix Snap Airdrop Season 1
The play to earn model of Animix Snap is designed to reward both tactical competitive gameplay and community participation, meaning you can compete for leaderboard token rewards for free by winning ranked battles while inviting friends to potentially rank high enough in the referral event that is awarding USDC for the biggest contributors to this web3 game’s growth.
Ranked battles are at the core of the game's reward system. Each match consumes one ranked ticket, and players earn ARP based on in-game performance. Players can strengthen their decks through card upgrades, using specific card fragments and Stardust, with upgrading improving a card’s stats and visual design, giving a competitive advantage during ranked matches. Expand your strategies by creating unique AI-generated cards using key resources that include God Power, Premium God Power, and DNA.
