Blockchain gaming ecosystem QORPO World has announced that the pre-alpha version of third-person extraction shooter AneeMate is officially starting on May 6th at 10 AM UTC for eligible participants.
What’s New in AneeMate Pre-Alpha?
The newest pre-alpha release of AneeMate is introducing a unique talent system to the creature collecting title, according to an X post by the game’s founder, Rass Bakala. This talent system consists of multiple layers that include AneeMate stats, Talents, and Moves.
If you’re not familiar, AneeMate is the name of the cute creatures accompanying your character in this web3 game. They’re your trusty companions with whom you share HP with and use various abilities together. As you progress through the game, you’ll be able to unlock a variety of different moves your strong ally can use. These moves are even tradable, meaning that it doesn’t matter how big your creature is – if equipped with some powerful moves, your opponent and their companion may not stand a chance against you in real-time PvP combat.
According to Bakala, “The reason we started building AneeMate wasn’t just because we love creature-catching games — it was because we wanted to create a player-driven economy where everything you collect, own, and trade has real value.”
Next to the new talent system, you can also likely look forward to crafting, completing various quests, hanging out in social hubs, and possibly more. The team’s goal is to combine extraction elements from games such as Escape from Tarkov with the “playful vibe” of Super Mario and an MMO-style economy in order to deliver an enjoyable blockchain gaming experience. Bakala’s X post further notes that the developers are focusing on live ops, so you can look forward to a dynamic spawn system and ongoing content to enjoy while catching new creatures and collecting valuable loot, with everything set to be possible to unlock through “gameplay and exploration.”
More details on the new update are likely set to be revealed on launch day. In the meantime, you can find out if you’re eligible to participate, and if you’re not, what you could possibly do to potentially get whitelisted while there’s still time.

Who Is Eligible for AneeMate Pre-Alpha?
All AneeMate Genesis Zero NFT holders and whitelisted players are eligible for this pre-alpha release. Genesis Zero owners get guaranteed access, so if you want to become a holder, you can do so by purchasing a Genesis Zero NFT on the BNB Chain via the Element NFT marketplace for the floor price of 0.3179 BNB at the time of writing. If you want to get access to the early build for free, then you’ll want to try your luck at getting whitelisted. Here’s how to apply.
How to Whitelist for AneeMate Pre-Alpha
If you want to get whitelisted for the AneeMate Pre-Alpha release instead of buying the Genesis Zero NFT, then you can do so by heading to the game’s official website and clicking on the “Apply Now” button found in the non-holders, whitelist access section of the homepage.
To apply for the whitelist, you will need to set up a Toy Wallet, a crypto wallet for the new and in-development AI-powered blockchain entertainment ecosystem, Toy Chain. The application process will let you easily set up a Toy wallet using an email address or a social sign-in option that includes Apple and Google. Once you’ve done this simple process, a message should show up saying that you have successfully applied for the whitelist. There will also be a button that takes you to the whitelist checker, which you’ll probably want to check in on during Monday, May 5th. That’s because Monday is the day when another whitelist round will take place, according to the official X announcement, giving you a potential chance of getting access to the early version of this colorful game. The same announcement however mentions to make sure you’re using “your TOY wallet and engaging in trades to qualify.” It’s unclear how much trades influence your whitelist chances, as that part does not seem to be mentioned during the application process.
Back in August 2024, NFT holders were able to playtest AneeMate Closed Pre-Alpha on the Epic Games Store, and there was no whitelist for non-holders to try and participate, making this upcoming pre-alpha more open than last year’s test session. It’s unclear how many users are being whitelisted for this testing phase though.
