Aether Games has released a new update introducing an Ascension Path to their trading card game that is live on Steam and the Epic Games Store, and which was previously known as Cards of Ethernity.
Ascension Path is described as an ‘inclusive’ progression system that brings with it 30 new limited-time quests, with 6 Chalice Pillars each featuring 5 premium quests. According to the announcement, the system is inclusive because anyone is able to freely join in to compete for rewards. It’s designed in such a way so as to one quest per day for the rest of November, going from a Dragon Chalice quest in one day to a quest in the Elemental Chalice the next day. However, it doesn’t seem like you need to complete a certain quest in that particular day – there is simply a 30-day countdown timer, so you should be able to complete any quest you may have missed, as long as you finish everything in this month, you will be able to retroactively claim rewards from previous quests.
By successfully completing the objectives laid out for a quest, you will be able to earn a certain amount of Aether Coins. If you beat all 30 quests on time, you will be rewarded with 18375 Aether Coins, while activating a Chalice is rewarded with 1500 Aether Coins and a permanent card.
