WingStep, a move-to-earn game on the BNB Chain, has recently revealed a new function update that introduces Sneaker NFT renting.

Players will be able to rent a Sneaker NFT from Special to Universe type, allowing players who aren’t able to afford owning such an NFT to earn as a scholar. Rewards in the form of the earnable $WSS token are given after 24 hours every day from the time the rental period started. The minimum amount of days a rental period lasts is 15 days, with the renter earning 45% of the rewards, and the actual owner also earning the same amount. This means that the remaining 10% is deducted as a rental operator fee, which is burned every week. Costs such as repair fees are paid by the renter and not the NFT holder.

WingStep is currently available on Android devices via the Google Play Store. As of writing, it seems newly-registered players need to enter a referral code in order to start using the fitness app. Every player starts off with a free Trial Sneaker, and can buy one of 4 different types of NFT Sneakers in the built-in marketplace: Special, Unique, Noble and Universe. Each Sneaker has various different stats, including Strength, Agility, Cooldown, Performance and more.
