Developer Zillion Whales has revealed some of its plans on how they plan to airdrop the upcoming $WF token of their mobile card RTS, Wild Forest, introducing its own play-to-airdrop system.

Airdrop for Dedicated Players

The team announced last week that some of the tokens allocated for the airdrop is set to be distributed to active players in order to “ensure a fair initial distribution at the game launch,” with the goal of rewarding both current players as well as newcomers.

As such, the studio will attempt to create a competitive but balanced airdrop system that will utilize an Honor leaderboard.

The Honor Leaderboard

The Honor leaderboard is designed to focus on “individual progress and personal achievements” and will be used for distributing the game’s upcoming capped token. By making it this way, the announcement states that “unbeatable advantages” from veteran players and multi-accounts are prevented.

There are 3 different ways in which players can earn Honor:

  • Personal progress and achievements: this is said to mostly takes into account your battle pass progression, whether you own a Premium battle pass or not, or the number of battle days you have. A day is considered a battle day if you won at least one match during that day.
  • Collect NFTs: by owning Lords, Units and Skin NFTs, you will be able to earn more Honor. Players who own a full set of Skins or Units are said to gain a bonus.
  • Community engagement: players who follow the game on social networks, take part in the referral program or create content about the Web3 title are also rewarded.

Players can already start working on making progress in the battle pass or Premium battle while the developers focus on completing the UI that will track your Honor, achievements and rank. A list of achievements is set to be revealed in the near future.
