What is Vulcan Forged?

Vulcan Forged, the blockchain game studio behind this innovation, is known for its immersive gaming experiences like VulcanVerse, a massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) where players own land and build structures, and Vulcan Royale, a battle royale game where players fight for survival in a volcanic-themed universe. 

The platform also features games like Berserk, a digital trading card game, and Forge Arena, a multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game. In Vulcan Royale, players navigate diverse terrains, utilizing an arsenal of weapons and scavenging for resources to enhance their survival chances.

The First Battle Arena Coming to Vulcan Royale

The Vulcanite Arena is finally introduced to the VulcanVerse. Launched after several testing phases and fine-tuning the dynamics, Vulcanite Arena is the first battleground in what seems to be a lineup of unique combat arenas to be launched in the future. 

Vulcanite Area within the Vulcan Royale gameplay is a dedicated combat area where, instead of human characters, animal characters enter into head-on battles. Each arena character has unique skills and properties that can be used to dominate the battle.  It’s a stadium to hold one-to-one matches as Vulcanites take on each other and fight until death. The arena offers a fresh and exciting new battleground to hold challenge fights and earn rewards. 

Players are expected to bring their best Vulcanite to the arena and use them according to their capabilities. The arena is a way to enhance in-game engagement and give players another method to earn the native $LAVA tokens. 

Vulcan Royale - Royale Experience of the VulcanVerse

VulcanVerse is an open-world massive multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). It’s built by Vulcan Forged on the Polygon blockchain and integrates the digital assets on the network. The VulcanVerse blends digital collectibles, assets, and virtual real estate along with gaming experiences. 

It’s a volcano themed universe where players can own land and build structures on them while creating their own quests and battling with other players called Vulcanite. All settlement, staking, and gaming transactions in the VulcanVerse are done in the native $PYR token. 

Vulcan Royale is a free to play and earn single-player game with battle royale gameplay. In a expansive world of Vulcanites, 20 players enter and take on the role of gladiators and soldiers and fight for survival. Soldiers (characters) in the game are customizable, as players can change their appearance and inventory. From choosing different skins and character classes to helmets, armor, etc., the goal is to increase the chances of survival. 

Only one player shall come out victorious after beating all opponents, in a last man standing sort of gameplay dynamics. Players will navigate through the VulcanVerse terrain to enter the shrinkable arena to fight. Basic accessible weapons include a sword, spear, and bow, which can also be upgraded with in-game assets. The players eventually find themselves in a shrinkable area where players engage into intense combat. 

While navigating to the fight area, players scavenge for resources that will benefit them in the fight. So, while playing, look out for armor, health potions, and similar items that will increase your chances of survival. 

The characters earn Survival points for every minute they last in the game. By the end, they earn a chance to win the Elimination Survival bonus. In addition to this, players earn Kill points for eliminating opponents and opportunities to earn bonus scores by completing Kill Milestones. 

Character development plays an important role in increasing kill and survival points. Strategic in-game movements and actions have proven important in increasing the chances of survival and being victorious in combat. So actions like walking, running, jumping, sliding, attacking, defending, etc. earn points. 

The game ends when all players but one are eliminated. Points a player gathers with kills, actions, and survival are displayed on the final screen, with each player getting their survival time and rank. It’s a game representing the merger of skill and strategic customization to let experiences have an enjoyable battle royale experience.

Available in free to play and play to earn modes, Vulcan Royale players can expect to get new updates in the future and new developers enhancing the gameplay. 

Vulcanites of the VulcanVerse and Vulcan Royale

Players begin the game with soldiers as characters, who must collect Vulcanites, powerful animal characters possessing special powers. They are beasts inhabiting the VulcanVerse, including minotaurs, foxes, tigers, sabretooths, mammoths, and all the animals from all the lores are present. 

There are 7 (0 to 6) levels of Vulcanies divided into four quadrants, namely Gardens of Arcadia, Deserts of Notus, Underworld of Hades, Mountains of Boreas. Each level has multiple Vulcanites each with a different set of attributes, including Attack, Defence, Forage, and Espionage. In Vulcan Royale, the Vulcanites go against each other and players are supposed to leverage their capabilities to deliver their best performance. 

Tokenomics

Vulcan Forged operates a dual token economy utilizing PYR and LAVA. PYR, the primary token, powers the entire ecosystem and has a maximum supply of 50 million tokens. It is used for buying NFTs, staking, upgrading land, and accessing various in-game features. 

Supported on Ethereum and Polygon, PYR is transitioning to the Elysium blockchain. LAVA, the secondary token, is capped at 1 billion tokens with about 50 million circulating. It is earned by holding PYR, playing games, and providing liquidity on ElysiumSwap. 

LAVA is essential for upgrading land, purchasing consumables, enhancing Vulcanite stats, and activating NFT seeds, with a burn mechanism in place to reduce supply through expenditures and seed activation.
