Upland has officially partnered with KABOOM! to support the creation of playgrounds through the use of funds from an upcoming exclusive NFT collection.

Upland x KABOOM! NFT Playground Collection Details

The upcoming NFT playground collection is set to feature 1800 digital playgrounds, with the collection featuring 5 different playground designs made by a talented Uplander, thus incorporating the community in this charitable endeavor where all sales will go to KABOOM!, while Upland will take a 10% transaction fee. According to Cryptopolitan, the minting of these virtual playgrounds will be actually visually displayed in the Upland metaverse, with users able to see a factory creating them. This interesting event seems to be planned for Thursday, September 28th, while the sale itself is set to start a day later. Exact times do not seem to be available at the time of writing, nor have the designs been revealed so far.

About KABOOM!

KABOOM! is an American non-profit organization focused on building playgrounds for children in historically underserved neighborhoods. Founded in 1996 with their headquarters in Washington, D.C., the non-profit has since helped communities construct or renovate more than 17,000 playgrounds to date, with the partnership aiming to continue to help them do exactly that: raise more funds to build more playgrounds for children to enjoy in places lacking such spaces.
