In the upcoming version of mobile sports game UNKJD Soccer (previously known as MonkeyLeague), the Web3 title is getting updated with 3 crucial new features that are set to bring an overhauled gameplay experience.

What Are the New Features?

The new features on their way include Ghost Ballers, Stars, and Skills & Skill Packs.

Ghost Ballers

A new team-building feature is on its way that will make it so that players can start off playing using Ghost Ballers, which have no special abilities. These serve as placeholders as you collect Ballers for each position on the field in order to upgrade your team and create a strong strategic lineup.

Stars

Stars is a new resource that will be used for upgrading Ballers. By introducing this resource, the studio states that another layer is added to the game’s economy while encouraging player engagement and giving the $MBS token more utility, as the feature "integrates seamlessly with the game’s use of the $MBS token.”

Skills & Skill Packs

Players will be able to customize their Ballers with up to 6 unique Skills that will be possible to get through Skill Packs, which players will be able to buy as well as earn in the game. Each pack will have a guaranteed minimum rarity of Skills, with the rarity system made to encourage players to “seek out the best combinations for their team, fostering a competitive and engaging gameplay environment.”

The foundation for a dynamic trading ecosystem is being made that will allow players in the future to trade Skills using the $MBS token. It will also be possible to trade Baller NFTs, giving players the option to buy and sell upgraded Ballers with rare Skills that could be crucial to the tactical depth of a player’s team.
