Mechanic And Calculation For Damage Repair
Train of the Century has added a new repair mechanic to its ecosystem. The mechanic will fix Trains when they deteriorate after each run, and this is to ensure efficiency and also strengthen the economy of the Centuryverse. In addition, the NFT Card Game continues to upgrade its features to allow Railroaders to enjoy exciting adventures.
With these new settings, only the Train speed will be affected by the Train's condition, so burn runs will not be as frequent as before. A Train's condition must be less than 90% before speed reduction. More rail cars mean more damage to the Train, costing 0.10 Tocium/Century Token per condition point. Players can put on 'Auto repair' on the settings page.
At the start, every Train has a max Condition point. The decline in Train Condition points is a product of the Earned Amount and Rail Car Multiplier.
Every Car hauled adds 0.25x to the Multiplier. Thus 5 Rail Cars (RCs) =1.25, 12 RCs = 3.
Speed Reduction is determined as follows: ((Train’s current/Max condition) ^ 0.75) x Loco Speed. Speed reduction only happens when the Condition Point drops below 90%, and the minimum Speed is at 1% Condition.
UI Element for Train Tracking
Repairs are accessible on the Rail Run window and the Map-View Panel. The mechanic may also show greater displeasure if a train has been seriously damaged.
The platform now has a UI element that allows players to track their Trains. This indicator is on the left part of the screen and shows circular gauges that reveal the current train condition.
