Monster-catching MMORPG Spellborne is set to be updated with various new features in the future, among which will be the introduction of Guilds.

How Will Guilds Work?

According to Twitter/X user Elonborne (@0xelonmon), whose roundup post was reposted by the game’s official account, Apartment holders will be able to create guilds that will vary in size based on the size of the apartment. The owner will have full control, and should they end up selling the apartment, the guild goes with it too, thus the new holder also becoming the leader of the group. It seems that 35-40% of the game’s core token supply, also representing the game fund, will be only possible to access through these clans.

Apartment owners will be able to set up multiple guilds, with the first guild they create costing 400 gold nuggets, regardless of whether it’s a Small, Medium or Large Apartment. After the first guild, creating a second one may cost 600 gold nuggets, and the price seems to continuously increase by 200 for each new guild made for the same Apartment.

Guild members will be able to participate in a “trust-based system” called Fortunes of War, in which members anonymously choose one of 5 different cards to gain rewards from a guild war, as shown in the above image. Members can end up becoming managers of the guild should the owner assign them, with the owner also able to set up proposals that allow members to vote on various important decisions that shape the direction of the guild.

Players will be able to donate gold nuggets to the guild treasury, as well as access guild shops containing limited rare items. Owners will be able to level up their clan to unlock various benefits such as increased member capacity, and there will be a guild chest that can be leveled up each week.
