Sorare a fantasy football, NBA and MLB game, has just launched the awards edition player cards on the marketplace. This is in a bid to commemorate with the recently crowned winners of the MLB’s 2023 awards. These cards would be featuring Shohei Ohtani, Ronald Acuña Jr and many other stars. 

These special edition cards have been crafted with fresh and unique designs. They also serve as both  digital collectibles and in-game items. Each of these MLB Awards Edition Card would be minted as a 2023 card. However, each card would keep a 5 percent bonus throughout the 2024 Sorare MLB season. The 5 percent bonus would also count towards the Collection Game score as a special edition card. Additionally, the auction of these special cards began on the 28th of November and would end on the 30th of December. 

Furthermore, the team released a list of featured player cards grouped into various categories. These categories include the BBWAA MVPs, BBWAA Cy Young Winners, BBWAA Jackie Robinson Rookies of the Year, Comeback Players of the Year and so much more. 

Utility and Auction Schedule

The team has further emphasized that the auctioning of these special edition cards would span across three weeks. From the 29th of November till the 1st of December, there would be an auctioning of one card each in Limited scarcity namely the AL & NL Sluggers of the Season. Additionally, an auction would be taking place on the 5th of December and extend till the 7th of December. During this period, only one card in the Limited and Rare scarcities each would be auctioned. 

Finally, from the 12th to 14th of December, the team would be auctioning one card each in the Limited, Rare and Super Rare scarcities. This includes the AL & NL player of the season, AL & NL Pitcher of the season and the AL & NL Rookie of the season.
