Social farming MMO and growing web3 gaming ecosystem Pixels has officially launched Leon’s Neon Zone, giving blockchain gamers a new area in the Ronin-powered title to play to earn various rewards in, including $PIXEL tokens and NFT Pets.
What Is Leon’s Neon Zone in Pixels?
Leon’s Neon Zone is a newly-renovated building in the browser-based Pixels game that anyone with Zonez Tokens can access to start playing arcade mini-games and earn Stuff Stubbs that can be redeemed for on-chain rewards.
Zonez Tokens represent the official currency of this new area that you need to use if you want to play all of the arcade games in that location. This currency can be bought in bundles at Bart’s Booth, with the Bundle of 10 only available for purchase 5 times a day.
With enough Zonez Tokens, you can start playing various arcade games in order to earn Stuff Stubbs, which is a special currency that can be redeemed at Buffy’s Third Dimension Store, which features rewards such as neon-lit wearables, Farm Charm Point boosting decor items, and more goodies. Stuff Stubbs can also be used at the Vaporwheel of Fate, where you can spin to earn valuable prizes.
The Vaporwheel of Fate is where you can earn another new special currency: Divining Doubloons. These can be redeemed at Master Zeller’s Fortune Feller. Master Zeller will read your fortune, and who knows, you could win some big rewards from him right away, including $PIXEL tokens, Robo-dog NFT Pets, Wineries, and more.
Every arcade game in this building also comes with its own set of rewards. These are milestone-based rewards that award you with bonus Stuff Stubs and Zonez Tokens depending on how many times you play each mini-game.
Next to all this, there are also two biweekly leaderboards through which you can earn $PIXEL tokens: the Overall Leaderboard, and the Higher Lower Leaderboard.
The Overall Leaderboard features a biweekly prize pool of 79,125 $PIXEL tokens up for grabs for the top 500 players who accumulate the highest number of points from ranked plays of arcade games within the given time period. All arcade games that are found on the top floor count towards your ranking. The winner gets 10,000 $PIXEL tokens, while 2nd place wins 7500 $PIXEL tokens and 3rd place walks away with 5000 $PIXEL tokens. The top 3 players also receive an additional limited edition trophy. Rewards are distributed shortly after the 14-day period has passed. Here is how the full distribution looks like:

About Pixels
Pixels is a free to play social farming MMO that runs on the Ronin network and allows players to play to earn $PIXEL tokens and other rewards by farming and selling resources while completing daily quests, participating in limited-time events, and owning NFT land.
