Pepper Attack, a play-and-earn 2D strategy title, has officially been released this month.

The game can be played for free by minting 3 free Hero Pepper NFTs on the Polygon network over at the game’s website, where players first have to input an email address before connecting their MetaMask wallet in order to mint 3 random Heroes at no cost, after which they’ll be able to create their account. All of these Heroes differ in various stats such as Attack, Defense, Endurance and more, as they’re divided into 7 different classes.

According to the developers, those who want to get various benefits such as whitelists, earn in-game items and Pepper NFTs can get a free Genesis Card NFT on Polygon when minting it for the first time, which also brings with it 3 limited Pepper NFTs that have at least Rare rarity. As of writing, this free promotion is set to end in around 10 days. When a player who owns a Genesis Card plays the game, they can earn Stim, an item used for temporarily boosting a Hero’s stat. They can also earn points which are used to upgrade the Genesis Card NFT and thus unlock tiered rewards. Bonus points are awarded to those who buy items, while players who minted a Pepper NFT before the start of September can also get bonus points if they get the Genesis Card before September 25, submitting their wallet address here to check if they qualify for the bonus points.

With the launch of the game also comes the start of Season 1, featuring leaderboard rewards consisting of up to 150k $MYTE and 1000 Stims.

Pepper Attack can be played on PC directly from web browsers as a WebGL title.
