After announcing the Cold Snap program for their officially-licensed Web3 title, NFL Rivals, Mythical Games has now revealed the defense lineup while also sharing info on a large update for the in-game marketplace.

Snowmen
As previously revealed in the announcement, this program includes “Snowmen” cards which melt into Snow Day players. These players are picked from “very specific NFL Games from the past few seasons that were played in heavy snow,” and are included based on the team they played in at the time, not the team they are currently with.
For this early stage of the program, the developers are releasing 3 players as Snowmen cards that will melt on December 22nd, 23rd, and 24th. Once these melt, more Snowmen cards will make their way to the Shop that will melt a few days afterwards, with each card set to feature unique art “and also employ ice-blue flame VFX on the field!”
In-Game Marketplace Update
The studio is testing a huge update to the in-game marketplace (IGM) that will allow managers to have a “fully searchable, filterable buying experience from a robust set of listings,” instead of sticking to the current one where cards are purchased from others through a recommendation system that aims to help bolster your lineup. For the first test, the marketplace will display listings from the top 100 or similar number of traders so the system doesn’t break, with plans to expand the listings as soon as possible.
Only a small number of players are given access to this feature for its initial launch phase in order to make sure the system is stable enough to handle more. This of course has no effect on the Mythical Marketplace, where you can trade cards as usual.
