Here's what to expect from Music Mogul's closed beta

Music Mogul, a blockchain music tycoon game, is now available in closed beta for NFT holders. Players only need to own 1x NFT artist to get started and build their music empire.

During the beta, players can send their artists to perform, record, and shop until they drop by using the virtual currency provided. The team will provide enough tokens every day for players to spend on upgrades and test all the gameplay features.

According to developer Tyranno Studios, most parts of the game are yet to be finalized. This includes the costs and rewards in Music Mogul and limitations in artists' performances. Currently, Performing is unrestricted by genre. At launch, strategic limitations will be in place, dictating what virtual gigs an artist can take on.

Players can deploy up to 50 artists for each qualified Performance in the final version. However, for now, each player is limited to only one artist per Performance. At this stage, players won't be able to upgrade their crew members, as perfecting this feature, according to the team, would delay the game's commercial launch.

In terms of tokenomics, a token pool will be introduced for both Performing and Streaming. There will be hard caps in place. However, the final amounts on day 1 are still being discussed. These caps are expected to rise over time as more and more players enter the ecosystem.

As Music Mogul is still in early development, some of its gameplay features may not function properly. For instance, players may sometimes find their artists missing from the roster while recording a track, or the crews cannot be freed instantly after being deployed into a Recording Room.

An error message, as shown below, may also appear from time to time. However, the team assures everyone that this is nothing alarming and the developers are working on a fix for all the technical glitches.

According to Tyranno, the Music Mogul closed beta will be open as long as required. Players are encouraged to provide feedback via the game's official Discord channel.
