Angelic is a dark sci-fi universe that players explore through an immersive turn-based RPG. Built by Metaverse Game Studios, the game focuses on collaboration rather than the usual "play to earn" models. The game will offer two main modes: a single-player campaign called "Dark Symphony", which will be a premium purchase game, and "The Chaos Theatre," a free tactical multiplayer mode going into public alpha. 

Back in 2022, the game secured $10 million in funding through an investment round led by key Web3 figures. Notable backers include Animoca Brands, Pantera Capital, Solana Ventures, OKX, Morningstar, Huobi, Ancient8, and more.

Angelic sets itself apart with its "Collaborate to Earn" model. It focuses on teamwork and community engagement over "play to earn" or "pay to win." In this dark universe, players must gather powerful allies and navigate the treacherous space. The game's narrative centers on neo-humans – next-gen humans who have transcended their previous forms.

How to Play?

Here, you will start as neo-humans, leading a team of heroes (angels) in a world fraught with danger and intrigue. The game's setting includes spectacular space stations, colonies, and a devastated Earth, all of which you can explore and interact with. The game requires survival through teamwork, where players must trade, fight, and manipulate to progress.

Character and Core Mechanics

In Angelic, players take on the role of a neo-human to command powerful heroes in turn-based battles. These heroes can be upgraded and customized using the game's in-depth crafting system. Players will face various challenges that require strategic planning and execution.

Meet the Angelverse

Angelic is part of the broader Angelverse IP, which includes various game projects, franchises, books, comics, and more. The Angelverse is backed by ANGL tokens, the ecosystem's governance token. With only 1 billion tokens available, ANGL serves as a strategic resource within the game. 

ANGL Tokens and DAO

ANGL (Angelverse) tokens are crucial in Angelic's player-driven economy. They are used for crafting, designing new heroes, and participating in DAO operations. This ensures that the game's economy remains fair and balanced, promoting user-generated content and governance. The Saga team partners with Angelic to release advanced DAO features, which allow players to establish and control their own chainlets.

Mega Constructions and Strategic Projects

Build Optimization

More optimization efforts have been made, and the game now runs smoothly on a wider range of hardware. Players with an Nvidia GTX 1060 can expect 30+ FPS at 1080p resolution, even with advanced features like Lumen being turned on. Those with Nvidia GPUs featuring RTX cores will benefit from extra performance boosts when DLSS is enabled.

PvE Modes

The new build will include single-player and co-op PvE modes, allowing players to team up against AI opponents. The AI will continuously learn and improve, providing a challenging combat experience.

Player Progression and Hero Unlocking

A new player progression system will hit the scenes, allowing players to level up and unlock new heroes. Players will begin with a set of starter heroes and can unlock extra characters by progressing and earning "angel shards."

Tutorials

A combat tutorial will go live, providing new players with a sandbox mode to learn the basics of combat and test all heroes.

Account System Overhaul

The Angelverse account system will be improved, allowing players from China to access the game. It also fixes issues related to account synchronization.
