What you need to know about the P2E game Gods of Asgard

To begin with, Gods of Asgard (GoA) is a P2E battle royale game powered by Thor Financial on the Avalanche blockchain. Inspired by Elden Ring, the game boasts a unique combination of NFTs, DeFi, and AAA gaming experience for all players abroad.

Set in the rich lore of Norse mythology, players, or rather Asgardians, will get to battle and earn in the vast open world of Midgard. To play the game, players will need to own at least one of the 4 Gods of Asgard NFTs. They are Heimdall, Freya, Thor, and Odin - each having its own strengths and attributes. As of writing, each GoA NFT costs 10.5 AVAX (about $167) to mint.

After the game launch, players will have the chance to earn stronger characters by combining or burning their NFTs. Other than that, NFT owners can also rent out their characters to other players with a profit-sharing scheme.

So, when game demo?

Well, that's the million-dollar question, isn't it? The team behind Gods of Asgard initially planned to release a game demo in early June. But it was delayed as the quality of the demo was not up to par. Admittedly, this left many Asgardians feeling disappointed at that time.

Anyway, GoA recently confirmed that the game demo will be released this week. With one more day left to go, will players finally get a first look at the battle royale? Only time will tell. As the team already planned for the full game launch in July, having a playable demo this month would be crucial to retain players' interest in the game.

Nonetheless, coming up with a AAA game is no easy feat. As the Gods of Asgard team is working on the final touches, just keep in mind that good things take time. So stay tuned, Asgardians!
