The team behind blockchain RPG Faraland has started off a new PvP tournament for players to participate in this new season of The Era of Legionnaire.

Tournament Info

This seasonal competition started on March 4th at 7 PM UTC and will end on March 11th at 9 PM UTC, the same time at which a snapshot containing a list of all Guild members will be taken.

Everyone’s rank was reset at the start of the tournament, putting each player’s ELO base at 2000. It is necessary to have 3 heroes in order to play against other players, otherwise having 1 or 2 heroes will lead to the ranking system auto-matching you with up to 5 bots a day at your ELO level. Players will have to complete at least 20 matches before progressing to the next stage of the competition format, which varies based on the player’s leaderboard position. Basically, the leaderboard is divided into several pools, and you can only play with players that belong to the same pool. If you don’t get matched with any player after more than 40 seconds, the game will match you with a bot. You can play with 20 bots a day during this stage.

Rewards

Soul Stones, $FARA and various Materials are up for grabs for the top 300 players, with the winner set to receive 3500 $FARA, 2000 Soul Stones, 15 random Epic Materials and 60 random Rare Materials.

Next to this category, there are also top 10 daily leaderboard rewards that include Charms, different Materials based on position, and various Items depending on which spot you take.

There are Guild rewards for this competition too, with the 2 best Guilds set to be awarded with Soul Stones and many other prizes that will be sent to the guild owner’s wallet address. Guilds are ranked based on their Guild Strength, which takes into account the ELO points of all guild members, aside from the base 2000, meaning that if a member has 3200 ELO points, then 1200 will be added to the Guild Strength index.
