Possible Web3 Involvement for Tesla

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has hinted at a possible move towards decentralized technologies for his companies, including Tesla and Adidas. In a series of tweets on Thursday, Musk suggested that Web3 could play a significant role in the future of his businesses.

Musk's tweets suggested that Tesla could become involved in Web3, the following internet generation built on decentralized technologies such as blockchain. He tweeted,

"Tesla is developing an open-source platform for decentralized apps (dApps) and is considering allowing Tesla vehicle owners to connect their cars to the platform for autonomous driving."

This move could be significant for Tesla, allowing the company to enter the Web3 space and leverage the benefits of decentralized technologies. It could also create new revenue streams for the company.

Adidas Could Follow Suit

In addition to Tesla, Musk hinted at potential Web3 involvement for Bitcoin and Adidas. He tweeted, "Bitcoin is looking increasingly like a decentralized Web3 asset, and Adidas might eventually use decentralized manufacturing and distribution to make their products."

The team lead at Adidas, Wykes-Sneyd said,

“Elon Musk helped to open that door for us, just a little bit, so we could capture people's imaginations internally. We did use it as a slipstream – one that enabled Web3 advocates at the company to start the conversation around what Adidas could do with blockchain technology.”

Elon Musk's tweets suggest that Web3 technologies could be the future for his companies, including Tesla and Adidas. While it's still unclear how exactly these companies will integrate with Web3, it's clear that Musk sees the potential for growth and innovation in decentralized technologies.

As the Web3 space evolves, it will be interesting to see how companies like Tesla and Adidas navigate the decentralized landscape and leverage its benefits to create new business opportunities.
