All about Cryptoblades' Octoblades event

Play-to-earn RPG Cryptoblades has kicked off the month-long Octoblades event in style. With 6x rewards and 2x experience gain on the table, the game is now the #1 BNB game on Dapp.com all week long. 

This time, the exciting event offers a range of new games, features, earning mechanics, and fee discounts to the loyal players of Cryptoblades. The first on the list is Village Builder, a mini-game that allows players to stake land, $KING, $SKILL, and CryptoBlades characters and weapons to earn $KING as well as exclusive prizes.

Other than that, Generation 2 NFT characters are now live across all seven chains of Cryptoblades. Generation 1 NFT characters are no longer mintable and can only be purchased through the Bazaar Marketplace. 

According to the team, Gen 2 characters share the same function as their Gen 1 counterparts. Players can use them for Combat, PvP, Raids, Plaza, Garrison, and Quests. However, Gen 2 avatars are more polished in design and generate "unclaimed $VALOR" instead of "unclaimed $SKILL". Users are free to trade $VALOR for $KING or $SKILL and stake the token on BNB Chain. 

Now, here's the juicy part. Those who are playing on BNB Chain will enjoy 6x more rewards during the entire month of October. The increased rewards are unavailable on other chains such as SKALE, AVAX, etc. 

On top of that, players will earn 2x more in-game experience. This makes it easier for them to level up their characters quickly and improve their $SKILL/ $VALOR payouts in PvP fights. Best part is, all NFT characters are set to be profitable, including newly minted characters. Raid costs will be nearly free throughout the month.
