Continuum World has officially announced the release of unique Totems to the official shop, while teasing that Season 3 is planned to start at some point during next week.
Continuum World Totem NFT Details
Totems are NFTs that come with 3 unique heads on top of each other, and serve to not only provide standard decoration bonuses when placed in your biomes, but can also be used for participating in the Totem Game when you have them equipped in your inventory for a chance at earning UM rewards. There are a total of 9 different animal heads, which amount to 504 unique Totem variations, with 500 available only through the official shop on the game’s website. The other 4 are designated for “special rewards.”
Totems are priced at $59.99 each, and you won’t know which one you’ll get on purchase due to the use of a loot box system. Players will have the opportunity to use the new NFTs once Season 3 kicks off.

What is the Totem Game?
The Totem Game is a weekly lottery that all owners of Totems can participate in by having their NFT in their inventory. A smart contract randomly chooses a Totem out of the 504 variations every week, and if at least 1 head of your Totem matches the chosen one and is in the same position, you’ll be in contention to earn 2500 UM tokens. If 2 heads match, then it’s 10k UM, while the player who has the Totem that perfectly matches the one picked in the lottery will earn 500k UM.
Continuum World Season 3
Alongside releasing the new NFTs, the developers have teased that Season 3 of Continuum World is scheduled to start sometime next week. They can’t provide a specific time yet “until we finish some last checks.” Either way, some of the new features that players can expect to see in the new season include the Totem Game, a new login option without using a wallet, Birdums gathering mini-game, Birdums rankings, Birdums eggs machine, a system for burning NFTs, an invite friends system, and economy & reward changes. Some of these features won’t be available on the first day of the season, but will be eventually added over time throughout.
