Metasource Games, the creators of Castles NFT, have announced the start of the Slaying Event #3 while revealing various upcoming updates.

The event kicked off earlier this month on February 17th and will end about a month and a half later on April 3rd at 11 AM PST. As you may have guessed based on the title of the event, the goal is to slay monsters in an attempt to earn the highest amount of points in order to rank in the top 100 players that will be eligible for various prizes. Points per Monster Battle and NFT Monster Battle are given as follows:

  • Common  = 1
  • Uncommon = 2
  • Rare = 6
  • Epic = 15
  • Legendary = 35
  • Mythic = 85
  • Bosses x 3

If you end up as the #1 player at the end of the event, you will be awarded with a Legendary Tome and $100 in WAX tokens. The top 7 highest-ranked players will each get an Epic Tome, while the top 15 will be placed into a raffle for 3 Legendary Heroes and the top 50 will be in a raffle for winning 15 Rare Tomes. Everyone in the top 100 will be eligible for a 1 million pool of the game’s token.

As for the updates, some of them include updating the battle/slaying points display on the main battle page, while releasing an improved version of the leaderboard for battle/slaying points. You can check out all the details in the official Medium post here.
