Boss Fighters, an asymmetrical PC/VR blockchain game, is getting a big Christmas Playtime event instead of the usual weekend sessions in celebration of the Steam VR Fest.

Christmas Playtime Details

Instead of opening the game up for the upcoming weekend (December 1st – 3rd), the developers are hosting a big event during next week, from December 4th to December 11th, which is during the Steam VR Fest. According to the announcement this marks a “golden opportunity” to play the game before it officially launches.

During that period, players will be able to jump into the game by heading to the game’s official store page on Steam where they’ll be able to download the title in which various gifts await those who log in. This means that all players who sign up to play instead of just using guest mode will be gifted a Cozy Blast Weapon skin for PC players and a Santa’s Nightmare Boss skin for VR players. 

Extra Challenge

There’s more to this holiday event than just the cool gifts. If you want to snag some of “the rarest skins in the game,” then you will have to crush a certain number of cookies scattered throughout the arena. By doing so, you’ll be able to earn a Cranky Cookie Boss skin and Sugar Rush Weapon skin. That’s not all; those who manage to destroy even more cookies will be able to get the Nutty Nutcracker Boss skin and the Arctic Assassin Weapon skin.
