Pixelcraft Studios, the developers of Aavegotchi, a Polygon-based gaming protocol and NFT collection, have officially announced a free Halloween playtest for Spirit Force Arena, a third-person battle royale.

Spirit Force Arena Halloween Playtest Details

The highly-anticipated Aavegotchi Arena Playtest officially kicked off on October 28th, giving everyone a limited to try out the 3D title for free until November 4th.

Previously known as the Gotchiverse3D Arena, this week-long playtest gives anyone an opportunity to try out a demo of the arena shooter, without needing to own an Aavegotchi NFT. In fact, Spirit Force Arena is a free-to-play blockchain title featuring action-packed vertical gameplay where you play as 3D Aavegotchis and shoot down not only opposing players but also large robotic roaming AI hunters, while trying to be the last Aavegotchi still floating. Pick up special weapon blocks like in Mario Kart to use to your advantage and enjoy a 60 FPS, 4K experience on Windows, Mac, and Linux PCs.

How to Play

In order to test out this skill-based shooter, you will have to head to the Aavegotchi Game Center linked in the official blog post. From there you will find the download builds for your respective OS. You don’t need an Aavegotchi NFT to play.

Are There Prizes?

Yes - by playing this battle royale during this playtest, you will be in the run for a chance at winning $GLTR tokens. You will have to rank in the top 20 on the leaderboard by the end of the test period in order to be eligible for token rewards. If you end up being 1st, you will be awarded with 20 million $GLTR, while 2nd place gets half as much, and 3rd place gets to earn 5 million tokens. Players who ranked in places from 4th to 10th are subject to receive 1 million tokens, while those in the remaining spots, from 11th to 20th, will earn 500k $GLTR tokens.

All holders who play at least 5 of 7 days of the playtest can win 10XP for each of their Aavegotchi NFTs that are in their wallet.
