On May 20th, a new feature called Evolutions is officially going live in monster-taming RPG Zeeverse, bringing new Zees for players to use in the Web3 title.
How the Feature Works
Players will be able to begin the evolution process by talking to Coyote, the only one who has the knowledge of evolving Zees past level 50, going all the way to level 100.

Basically, levelling up a level 50 Zee requires sacrificing two level 50 Zees of the same type while paying 150k on-chain $VEE using your Treasure wallet. Next to having tokens on-chain, you will also have to make sure that all your Zees are also deposited on-chain on your Treasure wallet in order for this process to work. This will not only bring your Zee to level 51, but it will also evolve into a new form and gain a new ability in the process. Stats will be increased by 10% while traits and trait upgrade levels remain the same.
New Zees

The new Zees represent evolved forms of existing Zees. So, if you evolve Zoomba, you’ll get Zuulu and the ability “Bee Sweet!” which damages an enemy Zee at the start of the turn, decreases accuracy by 30% for offensive abilities and regular attacks while adding Blind & Burn debuffs.
Chakari is the evolved version of Chaka. The new ability that gets unlocked is called Burn-e-rang, which adds 50% Bloodthirst to the next attack while also causing a debuff to the enemy Zee where any healing it receives is halved for 2 turns.
Hotpot turns into Maocai, gaining the Hot Plot ability which lets Maocai do an AOE attack that creates a shield said to be equal to 50% of damage dealt.
Next to adding 3 new Fire types, there are also 3 new Grass and 3 Water type Zees. One of the new Grass types is Tonka, who possesses an ability called the Rock Whisperer, which lets Tonka form a shield that increases damage by 50% while the shield is active. As for Water types, one of them is Gajara, who uses an ability called Trunk Smooch to store all damage reflected from Reverse Harm. This damage can then be used to damage an enemy or heal a friendly Zee.
Curve Llamas
Curve Llamas can also ascend to new forms for the cost of 420 $CRV tokens on the Treasure wallet alongside the sacrifice of two Curve Llamas. This means that you can evolve your Curve Llama into Curve Ll, while a Funky Curve Llama can be turned into a Funkier Curve Ll. In both cases the ability Monty's Box is unlocked, with the Funkier Curve Ll getting a shorter cooldown on it. This ability hides the Curve Ll in a box, challenging your opponent to guess the right box. If the correct box is guessed, your Ll takes damage, while a wrong guess decreases cooldown on the Shapeshifter ability and damages the opponent.
