The X-Metaverse team is back with its biweekly PvP-focused competition, the Grand Prix, now in Phase 18.

This 18th round of the PvP arena for the play-to-earn 3D space game started on March 1st at 2 AM UTC and will end on March 14th 8 PM UTC. During the allocated time of this new season, players will battle it out for a share of the new space reward pool, with the developers revealing that this season includes a “cool gem system”. The new season is backed up by an upgraded server, which should help in providing a better experience.

For this season, the XMETA reward pool is split into a fixed prize pool containing 500k XMETA, and the XMETA consumption prize pool, which includes 50% all in-game XMETA tokens consumed throughout this season, with the team revealing that the distribution of in-game XMETA consumption is divided into 50% PvP rewards, 30% DAO and 20% destruction. While the 500k prize pool will be given in the form of fixed rewards, the XMETA consumption prize pool is rewarded dynamically, depending on the total amount of in-game consumption during this season, “according to a percentage basis.” Rewards will be distributed to the top 50 players on the leaderboard.

As is the case in previous phases, this one too does include Star Guard rewards for players who manage to deal the most amount of damage to bosses. The rewards include gem boxes that feature various random gems of varying level. The full details can be found in this official Medium post, which also has relevant links for reward distribution and Star Guard scheduling.
