Player-driven fantasy metaverse World of Dypians has been updated to patch v0.2.4, which is now available for download on the Epic Games Store.

Patch Details

The patch is said to introduce various new features and partnerships that are said to mark a “significant milestone” for the Web3 title. This means that new partner areas have now been added, each of which bring “unique charm and challenges” that add further depth to the virtual world by adding new characters to interact with, secrets to uncover and a variety of different environments to explore.

Specifically, players can now find 4 new partner areas: the CORE Area, Sei Expansion, VICTION District and MultiversX Addition.

The CORE Area is a technologically and architecturally advanced district that features various new quests and challenges to beat, while the large Sei area represents a lively and cultural urban landscape that introduces new gameplay mechanics and storylines. VICTION provides players with a district containing “cutting-edge technologies and quests that push the boundaries of virtual worlds,” while the partnership with MultiversX adds in a world combining fantasy elements with quests inspired by popular culture.

Upcoming Features

Various new features and improvements are coming soon to the fantasy 3D world. Among them is the addition of the new Challenger Global Leaderboard, where the top 10 players to have collected the most STARS from in-game activities such as chain leaderboards will earn cash prizes.

Chain leaderboards are set to be improved by having the Daily Leaderboard reward players with STARS while keeping the weekly and monthly ones the same. Alongside the current BNB Chain and SKALE network, more chain leaderboards are on the way, including CORE, Sei and VICTION.

The Daily Bonus feature is set to be enhanced by new partners such as Sei, CORE and VICTION with unique rewards. Premium subscribers will be able to open 20 chests every day from each chain, “giving them access to even more exclusive rewards and items.” The developers plan on introducing premium subscriptions for users to buy on Sei, CORE and VICTION, providing exclusive content such as exclusive items, areas and quests, with more unique rewards and goodies to be added to the subscription over time. Beta Pass NFT collections from new partners are also on the way, with the special assets set to act as tickets for Treasure Hunt events while also providing holders with unique rewards and experiences.
