What are the important updates to the World of Defish? 

Last week, the NFT game World of Defish (WoD) dropped a full list of exciting in-game updates that will go live soon. Guild system, NFT staking, economic changes, and more are on the list. Given that, the team promises to reveal more details before these changes come into effect. 

First off, enter the guild system. It is an exciting feature that many players are looking forward to. By joining a guild, players will be able to form their maritime empire, reap more benefits from fishing, and of course, compete with other guilds. In fact, some guilds are already recruiting players on the World of Defish Discord channel. 

Coming up next is the staking feature, which will allow players to stake their NFT Fishes together with $WOD (World of Defish) tokens. As of now, there are no exact details on the staking mechanism. But there are tons of chatters already about this feature on WoD's Discord channel. 

Besides that, another topic that catches players' attention is the upcoming changes to the in-game economics. Unfortunately, there's no clear indication yet of how this will be done. According to the team, the goal is not to cut players' earnings in the game. Rather, the changes are necessary due to some part of the game has been moved off-chain. 

Other than that, the team will also introduce a talent system that will allow players to upgrade their NFTs. In the coming weeks, players will get to take part in tournaments with unique NFT prizes as well.

To those who don't know, the World of Defish is a P2E NFT fishing game on Binance Smart Chain. As the name implies, players can fish in different areas on the map to capture NFT Fish or earn $WOD (World of Defish), the native token of the game. 

Since the game mainnet went live in April, the team has been launching several in-game changes to improve players' gaming experience. With the new updates coming soon, it looks like the World of Defish is ready to up the game.
