Following the end of Season 2 on May 11, Wombat Dungeon Master, an NFT adventure game on the WAX and EOS blockchain, is heading into Season 3 on May 18 this year.

Two days before the launch, there will be a Season 3 NFT pack drop on May 16, starting with the Community drop at 4 PM CET, then the Wombat Warrior drop at 6 PM CET and finally the Public drop half an hour later at 6:30 PM CET. The first drop is only available to the top 5000 players of Season 2, while in the second drop only owners of at least 1 Wombat Warrior NFT can participate.

The packs are sold in rather limited quantity, and the prices are quite varied, going from as low as 50 WAX to as high as 6000 WAX. That’s around $5 to about $580 respectively, at the time of writing.

With the upcoming season also comes a host of new partner NFT projects. The ones currently revealed are: nerdsuniteus, glummybears1, soonayfigure, cuteredpanda, niftywizards, nonfungdrugs and orchidhunter. NFTs from these collections will be able to be staked in the game. More partners will be announced soon.

Available in beta, the NFT staking game is part of Wombat, one of the biggest crypto gaming ecosystems on the EOS blockchain. Wombat Dungeon Master can be played on either EOS or WAX, and requires staking NFTs which you hide in a dungeon for a Wombat to find along with potentially other rewards. One dungeon run lasts 24 hours. Staked NFTs give you varying mining power depending on rarity and age of the collections the NFTs are from. The more mining power you have, the more points you can get, with 100k points being worth $1, the points being converted to WAX or EOS at the end of a season.
