Developer Evah Studio has announced Octoebr 31, 13:00 UTC as the launch date for the Alpha Test Phase 1 of their web3 game Powday Farm, with an exclusive reward that could potentially unlock future benefits such as airdrops up for grabs for the top players.
What Is Powday Farm?
Powday Farm is a new blockchain-based farming game built on the Solana network, developed by Evah Studio.
The project introduces a GameFi system that is said to focus on long-term stability and collaboration through a model called the “Interdependent Economy”. Unlike traditional play to earn systems that often reward individual gains, this in-game structure seems to aim to ensure that every player action has an effect on the broader ecosystem. The goal of this design is to create a sustainable and balanced environment where players’ activities are interconnected.
In terms of the game itself, Powday Farm looks to feature a cozy farming theme paired with straightforward gameplay, allowing both newcomers and experienced blockchain gamers to easily jump in. The game operates on a dual-token economy, where the governance and ecosystem token, EVA, serves as the backbone of Powday’s ecosystem, while POW acts as the in-game economic token. Both are native to Solana. EVA and SOL will be freely swappable once the game’s open beta begins, while POW becomes swappable only when the in-game economy stabilizes to prevent inflation and maintain long-term sustainability.
What Are the Features of Powday Farm's Alpha Test?
The Alpha Test Phase 1 will begin on October 31 at 13:00 UTC, and is expected to run for around 20 days. This phase represents the first public hands-on period for players to experience Powday Farm’s core mechanics, that is, the “most basic features” of Phase 1.
According to the development team, Phase 1 serves as the “accumulation phase”, the foundation on which the in-game economy will be built.
During this early test phase, players will get to mine the main resource, POW, while fighting PvE bosses and crafting the first items that will circulate within the game’s economic system. These activities are intended to simulate how the Interdependent Economy functions in practice, with each player’s contribution helping to shape future production and trade patterns.
At this stage, gameplay will remain simple, focusing on resource gathering and item creation. However, the Alpha will also introduce the class system that determines each player’s role in the ecosystem. Every class in Powday produces one essential type of good, and all classes depend on one another to sustain the economy. Some classes may initially have an easier time trading their goods, while others might become more valuable as the economy matures.
Each participant will take on the role of an early settler in the game's world. The progress from this phase will not carry over into the open beta, as the servers will reset to ensure a fair start for all players.
Following the completion of the Alpha Test, Powday Farm will transition to Open Beta Phase 1, introducing broader access and additional gameplay systems. The development team has indicated that this next stage will build directly upon data collected during the Alpha, with adjustments made to ensure economic equilibrium and sustainability.
What Can You Earn in Alpha Test Phase 1?
The Alpha Test introduces a ranking event designed to reward the first wave of players for their participation and performance. Players who join early and actively engage in farming, crafting, and PvE battles will have a chance to earn the exclusive Powday OG Badge.
The top 100 players at the end of the Alpha Test will be recognized as Powday’s original pioneers. These OGs will receive their badges as both a status symbol and a functional reward. The OG Badge is set to grant access to multiple future airdrop rounds, giving holders a long-term benefit for their early involvement.
The ranking system is divided by Classes, with each Class having 20 OGs, leading to roughly 100 OG players overall. Performance in PvE battles and other in-game activities during this period will determine leaderboard placement.
Earning an OG Badge is not guaranteed simply by joining early though, as it must be achieved through active gameplay. The badge is said to represent a combination of skill, consistency, and contribution during the test phase.
In addition to the OG Badge, players will have the opportunity to earn POW, the in-game token that powers the entire Powday ecosystem. While POW will not yet be tradeable during the Alpha, it will serve as a key economic resource. Players can use it for crafting items and fueling the early stages of the in-game market. Once the in-game economy stabilizes in later phases, POW will become swappable, allowing players to engage in open market activity.
Early testers will effectively act as contributors to the game’s economic framework. Their actions will influence how resources are distributed, how items retain value, and how the balance between production and consumption is maintained, helping the studio create a balanced blockchain gaming experience.
Beyond in-game rewards, Alpha participants will also gain community recognition within the Powday Discord and official channels. Being part of the first test round allows players to contribute feedback directly to the team and become early members of the project’s expanding ecosystem.
