What you need to know about MOOW's second alpha test

MOOW, a free-to-play fitness app, is moving into Alpha Phase 2 on May 8th. At 6 AM (UTC), the app will enter maintenance mode so that the team can perform essential upgrades.

MOOW is a brand-new fitness app available on Google Play and Apple App Store. Instead of GPS, the game employs users' heart rates to implement the move-to-earn mechanics. This allows users to earn crypto while taking part in any sport.

According to the team, only those with a special Tester role on the MOOW Discord are allowed to join the playtest. Non-NFT holders will receive a Level 1 non-NFT Pulse Tracker. This will allow users to participate in any core gameplay and earn $TIC tokens – MOOW's in-game currency – which can be used to level up the Pulse Tracker. Once the Tracker reaches Level 20, it will turn into an NFT. At Level 30, users can earn $TAC, the governance token of MOOW, which will be available in Open Beta.

There are 4 attributes on each Tracker that can be upgraded as it levels up. The Accuracy of the Tracker affects its $TIC earnings; Performance affects its $TAC earnings; Endurance affects its battery consumption, with Utility's functions to be announced later.

In Alpha Phase 2, players can earn $TIC rewards by performing various actions, such as leveling up their Pulse Trackers or minting a Tracker or Art NFT. These rewards will be given out during the Public Beta in Q2.

The team will also launch an In-Game Marketplace in early June, where users can buy, sell, or trade Pulse Trackers, Pulse Boxes, and Art NFTs. The $TAC token sale and CEX Listing will happen in late May or early June, boosting the project's prominence.
