Gameplay Galaxy, the developers of Trial Xtreme Freedom, a Web3 version of the popular skill-based mobile racing Trial Xtreme franchise, have shared some big new updates in the form of a packed X thread to give the community a good overview of the significant development progress made so far as the soft launch draws near.
The Latest Gameplay Updates
Since the last dev update, the team has been hard at work on making huge upgrades to gameplay mechanics while also dealing with “the smallest track details” in an effort to deliver a polished gaming experience.

Specifically, the entire bike catalog is said to have been revamped with the introduction of new bikes, upgrade mechanics and a new, redesigned crafting system that gives players more freedom (no pun intended) to create the bike that they want. A new upgrade system has also been added to further allow players to build the bike that most suits their playstyle. A diverse set of bikes has also been included to help you find the ride most focused on the stats you’re interested in.
Showdown

Showdown is a new game mode that will see players race head-to-head across various events and tournaments in an effort to win various prizes, with the tournament system now overhauled to encourage more competition by featuring a leaderboard that awards a certain amount of Fame Points to the highest-ranked players.
Career Mode Updates & Festival Zone
If multiplayer isn’t your thing, then you can look forward to the single-player career mode that is said to contain new tracks accompanied by chaotic physics and “second-slicing shortcuts.” Some fan favorites are also said to be making a return in an overhauled form.
Should you want to meet up with fellow like-minded players, you can head on over to the new social hub called the Festival Zone. In this new area, next to being able to use an in-game chat system, players will also be able to talk with interactive NPCs, look at the leaderboard, order a hot dog, and jam to a never-ending party with a couple of new dance moves. To further add to this social aspect, the studio has introduced new Heroes and numerous customization options to let you personalize your experience.

Near the end of the thread, the team teases that they plan on making some more announces in the weeks ahead, with the next dev update set to provide details on how the developers are using “mountains of data analytics” to create a balanced and competitive gameplay experience.
In the meantime, you can sign up to the waitlist for the game’s ongoing early access phase by inputting your email, device OS and country on the official website.
