Torque Drift 2 Garage Preview Details

After releasing a new official trailer teasing the Garage Preview launch, the Animoca Brands subsidiary has now officially launched it live for everyone to try out for free by downloading it through the Epic Games Store.

Available on Windows PCs, this early version of the game focuses on letting you get creative with making a unique drift car out of various parts and components. Backed by beautiful visuals, choose from a variety of customizable cars that not only differ in appearance but also in horsepower, torque, weight, top speed, and acceleration. Specifically, the cars you can pick at the time of writing include the following:

  • Nissan 180sx: CA18, SR20, Type X, Type X Aero, Sileighty
  • Nissan 370z (And variants)

When it comes to customization, there are numerous different parts of the car that you can choose to change: wheels, lug nuts, brakes, calipers, tires, exhaust tips, steering wheels, shift knobs, and seats.

Once you’re finished decking out your car in style, it’s time to head to the photo booth, which is a feature that puts your car in varied background scenery.

Drivable Experience Coming Soon

While the garage is currently the main focus of this early release, the studio revealed in a tweet that they intend to release a drivable experience sometime towards the end of the year. In the official store page, there are various features listed as “coming soon,” including drift practice mode, multiplayer, drift battles, community modding, a decal editor, paint booth, and more. More Nissan cars are also on the way, and so are numerous new customizable parts.
