The Sandbox has announced the release of The World Letter experience in partnership with French-Iranian artist Cocovan and LuluLand World

This experience will remain open for all from February 13th to February 27th. During that time, Cocovan will be in Lululand’s A Love is Forever experience in order to share her long-running art project in the metaverse. Ever since 2017, the artist has been going across the whole world in order to collect “people’s messages of love into one long letter” by setting up a desk in a public area and inviting people who pass by to write their love letter to the world onto an ever-growing scroll that gets longer the more people write their love letters on it. This heart-warming scroll and the artist have made traveled to 6 continents and over 50 cities, among which are Paris, Berlin, New York City, Mexico City, Kampala and many more, coupled with various remote villages and regions. The goal of this long letter is “To unite humanity in the collective creation of a gigantic symbol of peace.”

Throughout this time-limited experience, players will be able to complete a variety of quests, and whoever manages to finish them all will be able to enter a raffle for a chance of winning one of 50 “epic” World Letter NFTs. Apart from doing all the quests, entering the raffle will also require completing KYC verification in order to be eligible for participation. 

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has reached a partnership deal with The Sandbox for future metaverse plans.
