The developers of The Galaxy of Lemuria, a free-to-play anime MMORPG, have started off the year with the release of patch 0.5.1 and a new roadmap for 2024, introducing UI improvements while revealing what’s in store throughout this year.

Patch Details

The latest patch represents an improved version of patch 0.5, through which the team has fixed various bugs while improving the UI and adding a FTUE (First Time User Experience) tutorial. This means that players can now enjoy a unified user interface that should be free of bugs, while newcomers are now greeted with a new tutorial that should help with the onboarding experience.

Roadmap

With the launch of the new patch comes a new roadmap to give the community an idea of what might potentially be achieved over the course of this year. The roadmap is split into quarters, with some milestones bundled up as Q3/Q4 instead of just being in one or the other. As such, the ones listed in Q1 and Q2 seem more likely to be completed in their respective timeframes.

For the first quarter of the year, the team plans on launching an alpha test, as well as a land sale. To get whitelisted for the land sale, the announcement states that you need to own 1 Founders Token and 1 Founders Space Explorer Package. There are also plans to release the tokenomics of the game’s utility token during this quarter, alongside 2 events: San Valentin and Rio Carnival.

In Q2, the first DAO delegation is set to take place, alongside the start of seasonal events, the release of Founder’s Token new NFT drops, and support for various blockchains is also planned to be introduced. Which chains will be supported does not seem to have been revealed at the time of writing.

Last but not least, the final two quarters of the year will likely mark the launch of the utility token, followed by a beta test, and more.
