The team behind Treasure-powered F2P action roguelite RPG The Beacon has officially announced June 10th as the launch date for Phase 1 of The New Frontiers Quest, a quest-based progression system going live ahead of the game’s official Q3 2024 launch.

Phase 1 Details

For this initial phase, participants will be able to earn Prestige by completing various missions. Doing so increases your Rank, while higher Ranks provide better chances of securing a whitelist spot for the minting of The Writ of Passage NFT. This asset is needed to unlock upcoming phases. The official Twitter thread also states that future token allocations are tied to your Rank.

As you participate and complete missions, you will be able to start opening chests that can include a variety of rewards. These may include Prestige, pouches containing “juicy ARB Tokens,” exclusive cosmetics, Medallions and more. Medallions affect the amount of future tokens you could receive, with rarer Medallions bringing you larger quantities of tokens.

Back in March, it was revealed that missions will include social activities, in-game demo content and blockchain interaction. There will be a main questline to progress through, but you’ll probably want to try and complete the side missions as well for a better chance of gaining a whitelist spot. Participants who finish the main questline are set to be rewarded with a small token allocation.
