The Beacon, a F2P action roguelite RPG powered by the Treasure gaming ecosystem, has announced its final event before the multi-platform global launch: The New Frontiers Quest.

What Is The New Frontiers Quest?

This huge pre-launch event is a quest-based progression system in which players complete various challenges on the web app and in the game itself in order to unlock various prizes, perks and prestige points. Completing the main questline will give players a chance of winning a whitelist spot for the minting of The Writ of Passage NFT, which is a new asset that unlocks Phase 2 and 3 of this event while providing token allocation and exclusive drops of limited edition cosmetics and item NFTs. According to the developer’s official post, a small token allocation is planned to be distributed to players who complete the main questline.

The community will have other ways of getting The Writ of Passage NFT too. One of them includes having a Golden Ticket, which is awarded to active Discord members. If you’re a Moonfae Pet holder, then you’re automatically whitelisted. There will also be giveaways on Discord and Twitter/X, including giveaways from partners and content creators.

First Phase Details

Phase 1 of this event will be open for everyone to progress through, featuring a variety of quests to complete in order to gain prestige points. Quests include in-game demo content, blockchain interaction and social activities. Prestige points give you a higher chance of winning a whitelist spot for minting The Writ of Passage NFT. This means that, while completing the main questline could be enough, you’ll likely want to try and do all the side quests to significantly increase your chances.

More detailed information on this event and the NFT will be revealed in early April.

With the latest announcement also comes a new launch timeline, revealing that The Beacon will be globally launching in Q3 2024 on PC (Windows, Mac and Linux) and mobile (Android and iOS) devices, timing the release together with the launch of the Treasure Chain on Arbitrum.
