3D metaverse TCG World is now officially live to the public in the form of a WebGL version providing access to some of the key elements that this virtual world has to offer.

WebGL Launch Details

After providing a preview of the WebGL version in December and opening it up to select users, the browser-based edition is now available for anyone to access for free in beta since early this month, providing the community with an opportunity to experience a small section of a huge map.

By hopping in, users will be able to experience various activities that this less-demanding version was designed for, including Concerts, Events, Comedy Gigs and more, all of which will also be present in the upcoming downloadable release. The main downloadable game will include the full metaverse experience spanning a world of 900 km2. The area available in the browser version is roughly 1/60th the size of the whole map, according to the official announcement. In the main game, players can also expect to experience not only a bigger world but also more features, making the downloadable version more demanding as a result. It will include access to plots, the option to visit businesses, buy and sell various items, go hunting, completing quests, and much more across all 4 regions. The official post reveals that the developers are currently still working on the main version and that they expect it to be available for testing at some point later this year.

Last month, Legends Live partnered with TCG World to stream a unique sports-related event in the metaverse.
