Calystral, the game dev studio behind Synergy of Serra, an upcoming blockchain trading card game, have announced the Crate Unlocking Event.
The event will begin this month on November 6, and allow holders of Transcendent Set Crates to deposit their crates to a custom interface from that day and onwards. From November 6, owners have 2 weeks to deposit the crates they’d like to unlock. These crates will be placed in a queue in a random order, with the crates set to start to unlock from November 20, the day when the crate unlocking mechanism will be enabled.
The whole unlocking event is divided into 4 phases, from phase 0 to phase 3: The Countdown, The Collection, The Unlocking and The Celebration. Phase 0 is the one we are basically currently in, which includes a countdown timer to the start of the event on the game’s official website. In phase 1, users have 2 weeks to deposit their Transcendent Set Crates, with a countdown timer showing much time there is left to deposit. Phase 2 will start on November 20 and is when the crates will start to unlock in a randomly-generated queue. It’s also when the “mint numbers of new cards will be assigned,” not when they are opened. Holders will be able to actually open their crates in Phase 3, which is when all deposited crates have been unlocked.
This event does not apply to owners of Base Set Crates. An unlocking event for those crates will take place at some point in the future. For more details, check out the Medium article from the company’s Community Manager here.
