After releasing a teaser trailer for the game mechanics of Synergy of Serra, developer Calystral Games has now announced the sale of the first card expansion set called Vaults of the Virtuals.

This new card set represents the game’s third card set, the previous two being genesis sets, and is one that contains the first cards the game’s 5th Faction called the Virtuals. A total of 50 new cards are included from all the game’s known Factions. Specifically, the set is comprised of 33 Virtual, 8 Transcendent, 3 Cyborg, 3 Mech and 3 Native cards.

Those who are interested in getting the new cards will be able to do so once the set goes officially on sale early next month, on Sunday, April 2nd. It will go on sale in the form of crates, starting at €3 per crate, with each crate containing 6 cards from the expansion set. According to the official Medium article, the maximum supply is 2 million crates, and anyone interested will be able to purchase them through the game’s official website via crypto but also by using PayPal. These crates won’t be possible to open straight away though – you’ll have to wait for the unlocking event before you can open them. You will however be able to deposit the crates to start earning Alpha Fame, a reward that will be usable in the future to buy limited exclusive items only purchasable using Alpha Fame.

Full information on this first card expansion set, including details on the tier-based pricing structure and crate contents can be found in the official article.

A prototype of Synergy of Serra called the Proto-Alpha is currently available to a limited number of invited members of the trading card game’s community.
