In celebration of the Gala Games May Mayhem event, the developers of third-person roguelite shooter Superior have kicked off an Open Season that allows anyone to play the game on the Gala platform until May 30th.

This open period started on May 15th and will last for 2 weeks, throughout which time players not only get to enjoy the game for free by downloading the launcher on Gala’s platform, but also compete in a leaderboard competition.

This competitive event is scheduled to start on May 22nd and end on May 29th, during which time players try to get the highest score that they can in Challenge runs. A Challenge run can be played solo but also in groups, and if you can do well enough to rank in the top 50 for the solo leaderboard, you’ll be able to earn either an Uncommon Murmur or Uncommon Nomad NFT. Next to these rewards, the top 25% of players of any leaderboard will be rewarded with an NFT backpack. At the time of writing, it seems the price of an Uncommon Murmur on the Gala Games platform is about 8855 $GALA, while an Uncommon Nomad also goes for the same price.

Next to these events, the team also revealed that they plan to integrate GYRI to the stylish title soon. Additional details can be found here.
