Developer iBLOXX Studios has revealed that their third-person shooter, StrayShot, has officially been listed on the Epic Games Store.

What Does This Listing Bring?

By getting the Web3 title listed on the Fortnite creator’s store, the studio is giving people time to check out and wishlist the game before it launches on the platform at some point in April this year. Anyone interested can now wishlist the game to help it gain more visibility on the store, which has a userbase of more than 194 million active players. Next to helping the game garner attraction from millions of users, listing the game around a month ahead of release also gives the developers time to further promote and build anticipation in order to have a higher chance of getting a successful launch.

Users who wishlist the game are said to also have a chance at getting early access and potential rewards.

Gameplay

The listing page contains a couple of videos showcasing gameplay footage from the beta version on an island map. According to info from the store page, players take on the role of unique characters referred to as Bounty Hunters, fighting your way through various different game modes to gain points to help you qualify for exclusive prizes featured in competitive monthly and weekly challenges. There will be knockout-style tournaments to participate in, while the game modes you’ll be able to play through include Team Deathmatch, Hostage Rescue, and Extraction Shooter.

April 2024 is the timeframe you can expect the game to go live on Windows PCs, but if you don’t want to wait for this launch, then you can actually already download a beta version on the game’s official website by creating an account.
