After releasing a trailer earlier this month, Janus Interactive, the developers of Storm Warfare, a free-to-play card game set in WW2, has officially launched in open beta, with a tournament featuring $40k worth of rewards set to start soon.
Open Beta Details
This version of the game released on December 14th at 6 PM UTC, and is available for everyone to download for free on the official website. In order to gain access you will have to create an account using your email address, after which you can jump in and enjoy strategic collectible card gameplay.
If you are one of the testers who took part in closed beta, then according to one of the moderators in the game’s official Discord server, you will have to register again as your previous account details are not present anymore. What however does remain are your previous beta tester rewards, so if you sign up with the same credentials as you did before, you should have all your rewards restored to your new account.
When Does the Tournament Start?
With this new public version comes an official tournament that is set to begin next week on December 18th. It will feature a prize pool containing $40k worth of $JAN studio tokens, as well as 505 Genesis Commander NFTs. You now have a couple of days to get to grips with the game’s mechanics and meta so you can be properly prepared to march on to the tournament and walk away as the victor.
