Space Shooter StarHeroes Is Launching in Open Alpha on February 28th

StarHeroes, a skill-based, third-person space shooter, will be releasing in open alpha at the end of this month.

The developers, who label the title as the “first esports space shooter” initially revealed alpha gameplay back in August last year, giving us a good taste of what we can expect to experience, so if you haven’t managed to gain access to the game earlier, now you’ll soon be able to get your hands on it and try it out yourself, as this version will be free for everyone to participate in. All who are interested will have to make an account on GameSwift, a Web3 gaming platform, as that is where this version of the blockchain title will be available.

In the AMA mentioned in the tweet above, the team gave various details, stating that for this public version, everyone will be able to take part in tournaments by creating their own teams with their friends, while giving info on business aspects of development that will benefit the NFT-based game. 

When it comes to the business side of things, the team has revealed that they have partnered with marketing agencies and are working on making partnerships with various Web3 guilds, with the goal of working with the biggest blockchain gaming guilds in the space. They also mentioned that they are soon closing their first seed financing round, thus giving them a financial boost to help secure further development of the project.
