The Solana Foundation Games Team has announced the PlayGG (Play Good Games) Festival, a free event coming to San Diego in July this year with more than 50 different Web3 titles.
The free games exhibition will last for 2 days at the JULEP Venue, from Tuesday, July 18th to Wednesday, July 19th, with the first session kicking off at 9:30 AM PDT and ending at 6 PM PDT, with the starting time also being the same for the second and final session.
This community event is geared towards players of all ages, and is set to include not only live, fun-first games to play on the Solana network, but also feature reveals, surprises, the opportunity to get a behind-the-scenes look of various games, the chance to talk with various developers on site and more. According to the official announcement, there will also be “leading” personalities from Twitch and other gaming sites, and even professional teams who will compete against each other in various online games. It’s also stated that, next to the event being free for all registered visitors the festival is also free for developers and exhibitors too, allowing studios to have their booth on-site where they can show their Solana-based projects to all participants.
If you’re interested in attending, whether as someone interested in gameplay-focused titles or as a developer looking to showcase your game, then be sure to sign up for the event by heading to the official website found linked in the tweet down below.
