The breeding system for Snake City, a play-and-earn title on the Avalanche network, is now officially live.

Alongside the launch, the team released an article on how the new system is supposed to work. To breed a Snake Hero, players need to spend both $SNCT and $TOC, with the amount required depending on how many times the NFTs have been bred. They can be bred up to 5 times, depending on their generation, and every time a player breeds two Snakes, they have to wait 5 days before they can continue breeding more NFTs. If a Snake is F0, they can be bred 5 times, but if they’re F5, the fifth generation, then they can’t be used for breeding anymore. Aside from needing the required tokens, players need to have a male and a female Snake who are both at least level 3 in order to successfully commence the breeding process. It is not possible for an NFT to breed with their children and siblings.
