Blockchain extraction shooter Shrapnel has announced the STX3.1 event, coming this month with 6 different missions and a prize pool of 1 million $SHRAP tokens.

What's New in STX3.1?

From June 24th, 11 AM PST to June 28th, 6 PM PST, Extraction Pack owners will be able to once again enjoy action-packed FPS gameplay while completing various missions to earn weapon skin fragments, a Wildcard and $SHRAP tokens.

There are a total of 6 missions for players to try and complete during the allotted time, 3 of which award $SHRAP tokens:

  • Extract 4000 Sigma (Rewards $SHRAP)
  • Get 12 kills using any Suppressed Weapon (Rewards $SHRAP)
  • Craft 1 Weapon Skin from Fragments (Rewards $SHRAP)
  • Extract from The Zone 7 times (Rewards a Wildcard)
  • Get 3 kills using the Sigma Wave (Rewards Hazard Pay Shotgun Fragment A)
  • Extract 5 Weapon Skin Fragments (Rewards Hazard Pay Shotgun Fragment B)

A prize pool of 1 million $SHRAP tokens is up for the taking, an amount that is currently worth around $82k at the time of writing. Half of this prize pool has been designated to be bonus rewards for Operator holders. This means that if you link your wallet holding an Operator NFT to your account, you will be eligible to earn bonus rewards by completing all in-game missions.

Basic Extraction Pack

To make this event and future ones more accessible from the previous ones, the studio has decided to launch a Basic Extraction Pack to bring more interested players onboard the early access version of the Web3 title.

That being said, this means that this Extraction Pack is the cheapest one from all existing packs. Available at the price of $9.99 USD on the official website, the Basic Extraction Pack provides early access to the game during STX events, 1 Gear Pack and 1 MEF Operator. For comparison, the now second cheapest pack is the Light Extraction Pack at $19.99 USD, which contains the same contents as the Basic one but also features 1 Consumables Pack, 6 Weekly/Daily drops, and potentially more after early access is over.
