The team behind SHIB The Metaverse has recently announced on their new dedicated Twitter account that they will soon reveal the first hub of this virtual world called Rocket Pond.

A teaser revealing this hub is set to come out sometime these days, as mentioned in the tweet down below. The below tweet was followed up with another one that announced the end of a giveaway and also stated that Rocket Pond’s first teaser is due in a couple of days. The giveaway included 10 winners who will each get their own piece of land in this metaverse. The lands are called SHIB YARD, and they launched on the Ethereum network in April last year. The floor price for them on OpenSea is 0.08 ETH at the time of writing.

Concept art for this hub was initially revealed in September last year, where interested players could see black-and-white sketches of the location, with inspiration taken from the Monument to the Conquerors of Space found in Moscow, as well as from US places such as the Heavenly Village, Lake Tahoe, Cape Canaveral, and Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park.

In development in Unreal Engine 5, SHIB The Metaverse is scheduled to partially launch by the end of 2023.
